Zoigl is an informative application that effectively indicates which pubs, known as "Zoiglstuben," are open on any given day for the enjoyment of Zoigl, the traditional beer of the Upper Palatinate region in Bavaria. The detailed view of a selected Zoiglstube encompasses several useful tabs:

• Info: This tab presents essential details about the Zoiglstube, including the innkeeper's name, address, telephone number, email address, website, origin of the Zoigl, opening hours, and available food options.
• Map: Users can view the location on a map and initiate navigation to the selected Zoiglstube.
• Dates: A list showcasing the specific opening days of each establishment.
• Calendar: An annual calendar providing an overview of all Zoigl-related events throughout the year (available via in-app purchase).
• Images: For many Zoiglstuben, visual representations are available within the app to enhance user experience (in-app purchase required).
• Visits: Patrons can document their visits to each Zoiglstube, complete with ratings for beer, food, and ambiance, along with a free-text description (in-app purchase).

Additionally, users can access a comprehensive list of all places serving Zoigl, including inns and restaurants as well as breweries that produce unfiltered beer marketed under the Zoigl name.

The application includes master data for approximately 100 Zoigl establishments, alongside specific Zoigl dates for the 16 members of the "Echter Zoigl vom Kommunbrauer" association. For over 50 other venues serving Zoigl, users have the option to purchase annual date information through in-app purchases.

Notably, the app is designed to function in areas with limited or no mobile signal reception, as all necessary data is stored locally. An internet connection is only needed to display maps and calculate distances in road kilometers.
